I would really like to thank God for always being there for House of Mercy, from the

beginning of  this project, last year and at this present  moment. I would really like to

thank him for the strength and guidance that he has always provided for us and for not

forsaking us, I give him all the praise and all the honour  for giving us the courage to

keep on going as House of Mercy for if it wasn’t for him, we wouldn't  be where we are

                                      today.

2012 was a year filled with trials and tribulations, discouragements and

disappointments. But because we serve the living and powerful God, with all

those up and downs he managed to bring good wonderful things  through all what was taking place in 2012. I had an idea of getting a land for House of  Mercy in McGregor for I was planning to move there, and out of all that I’ve learned that moving out of the plan that God has for you won’t lead you to success for none of my planes moving to McGregor worked out, they all led to nothing because those where my plans, not God’s and he is the one who called me for this vision and it is my duty to fulfil what he desires.

For God always sees  an opportunity to bring some thing good in  every situation, it happened that young people ended up giving their lives to Jesus while we were ministering in McGregor (farm) 2012 in February, where by I took one of them (Agnesia Lundt) to live with us in House of Mercy to make something out

of her life by going back to school and by allowing us to build her character for it

was broken because of circumstances that she lived under.

Back there in McGregor (farm) where I was living I felt like I was never going to get

some where in life because of how people described and acted towards me (Agnesia

Lundt tells her story in short). I lost hope on my self and I got a low self esteem,

that made me leave school in the middle of the year in April 2011 (I was 15yrs old) for

there was no one to support and encourage me to keep on going.

I met Mama Daphne during the fellowship service that was held in McGregor 2012,

I gave my life to Jesus and from that day, I was never the same again. That’s when

she told me to come and stay with them here in Worcester. In that same year she took me to Roodewal Primary school for registration it was late because it was on the second term of the year, but the principal gave me a chance to study. After that, I worked very hard with the support I had in House of Mercy I managed to pass my grade 7.For that I got the principal award for the best disciplined student in Roodewal primary school and for dedication of my hard work.
